SURF CAMP – PLAYA DOMINICAL, COSTA RICA
The setting is incredible: tropical palm lined beaches steps from our hotel! This is the ideal spot for surfers of all abilities to learn how to ride Pacific waves. With a water temperature near 80 degrees, no wetsuits are needed; and with the most consistent waves in Costa Rica, there are small easy waves just right for beginners and larger waves for those up to the challenge. Your 5 days of professional instruction are with expert surfers and trained lifeguards from the Green Iguana Surf Camp. From the basics of sitting and then standing up properly to the details of breaks and currents – the focus is always on safety. You’ll progress daily and be dropping into wave faces in no time!

More Adventure: When you’re not “hanging ten”…Take a canopy tour and zip through the Costa Rican rainforest • Snorkel the coral reefs • Kayak through the sea to explore island caves • Chill on the beach • Get to know the warm native Tico population!

SAILING EXPEDITION – PLACENCIA, BELIZE-CARIBBEAN SEA
Location! Location! Location! At the end of a 15 mile peninsula, enjoying a great natural harbor and proximity to beautiful reefs & cayes, it’s no wonder Placencia is becoming Belize’s new sailing capital. Hoist the anchor and take the helm as you learn to sail on the Caribbean Sea. Master new skills as you skipper, navigate and crew the ship. You’ll assist in plotting the course, raising the sails and grinding the winches. The gentle summer trade winds provide for ideal sail training grounds. You and crew will live 5 days onboard a sailboat as you learn how to sail and stop to snorkel and explore the Belize Barrier Reef, the second largest coral reef in the world and home to over 400 types of tropical fish and more than 70 types of coral.

SCUBA DIVE CERTIFICATION (PADI) – PLACENCIA, BELIZE
Discover the dramatic underwater world of the Belizean Barrier Reef, a World Heritage site, on your four-day course with certified dive masters and our certified guides. Dive the Caribbean’s best marine parks, see an abundance of fish and creatures in every shape and color. From day one of classroom orientation, to a day of practice in confined water, you are safely prepared for two days of open water Caribbean diving! Marvel and explore Laughing Bird National Park, one of the premiere protected areas of the Reef. After this course, you will be certified to SCUBA dive anywhere in the world!

(For those who hold valid certification advanced dives are organized and led by our instructors.)

For those who prefer not to partake in the PADI course:
