Playa Dominical is a surfer’s paradise with the most consistent waves in Costa Rica. The Diuwak serves as our base for surf camp. Imagine waking up in the morning to the sound of waves washing up on the shore. This ocean front lodging allows you to walk to your surf lessons. Accommodation consists of double and triple rooms, flush toilets and hot showers. An adjacent restaurant serves great local food and the town is within walking distance.

Seaspray Hotel, Placencia, Belize

The stable, democratic, English-speaking country of Belize lies in the western Caribbean. Belize is home to an interesting mix of over ten different cultures including Garifuna, Maya, Creole, Mestizo, and East Indian. Belize also lays claim to hundreds of ancient Mayan temples, large tracts of intact tropical rainforest, and this hemisphere's longest barrier reef.
Placencia is an incredibly beautiful island with white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. This is our base for our 4 day PADI certification course and our launching port for our 5 day sailing trip. When on the mainland, we will stay at the Seaspray Hotel .The Seaspray hotel is on the waters edge over looking the Carribean Sea. The rooms are double occupancy with en suite bathroom. Enjoy relaxing on their hammocks at the end of the day!

Boat stay at sea – (5 nights)
TMM Yacht Charters serve as our hosts during our time at sea. They have been in business for 20 years operating in Belizean territorial waters including outer atolls, bay islands and Rio Dulce. They are the only full service charter and travel planner in Belize.
You will live 5 days onboard a sailboat learning how to sail while also enjoying snorkeling the Belize Barrier Reef, visiting marketplaces and learning about local culture and recalling the days events on deck under a starlit sky. Boats sleep 9 plus the captain. Single person beds, 2 washrooms and a fully equipped galley (kitchen).
Our certified Captains, who have completed many transatlantic crossings and sailed in the Caribbean for several years having gathered a vast knowledge of the Barrier Reef and other attractions, is at the helm . Communication is facilitated by cellular phones and VHF radios enabling boats to be in contact with the mainland and coast guard at all times in addition to navigation tools such as GPS units, auto pilot, radar detector, speed log and depth sounder.

An airport hotel complete with a fitness room, pool, restaurant and double occupancy air conditioned rooms. We spend a restful evening at the Best Western on our night of arrival in Costa Rica and before our departure home at the end of our journey.
